The Beginning

Well, I guess today is as good a day as any to start "blogging". We created this blog a while ago but I haven't gotten on here to actually write anything. Sooooo....

Today is September first. I had my wisdom tooth pulled this morning and it's hurting a lot more than I thought it would. So I am sitting here at home with Sophie. That's it just the 2 of us. It's pretty quiet.

Sophie...
She's 10 1/2 months old now. Time sure flies. She scoots all over the house (not crawling...scooting on her bum). She has to test everything with her mouth to see...well I'm not really sure why... but she puts so much stuff in her mouth that she already knows to take it out and hand it to me when I ask her what she's got. She's getting really good at standing on her own. She'll even take a step or two on occasion. Last night she stood up from sitting without even using something to pull herself up.

Well, there's my first blog. I know kind of boring but I just wanted to get started.
